According to the researchers, their findings suggest that a previous diagnosis of OCD may be linked to an increased risk of developing schizophrenia late in life. ... For example, some individuals may have had symptoms of schizophrenia but had not yet been diagnosed with the condition, which may have affected the results.
Medic today...

So now I got myself thinking, did I inadvertently make my son ill?
All those years of teaching him and his sister, tidy your room. Don't make a mess.
No dust bunny's, no paper laying around...

Omg this is horrific.

When he is ill, he is messy don't care attitude.
When he on track he is neat on himself, his living space his car.

I feel rather confused.

Well I went into my son's flatlet today, was so nice to see he started cleaning up and although I have about 8 loads of washing from his flatlet, that is ok.
He is healing.

Schizophrenia and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) share some important traits:

Both are severe and chronic mental illnesses;
Both disorders are linked to abnormalities in brain structure and functioning;
Both can contribute to difficulties in employment, interpersonal relationships, and emotional and mental well-being.

International OCD foundation.

It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.

It is difficult to balance the two out...

Remaining calm is hard at the moment, so found myself starting to repack every drawer and cupboard in the house again...

My son has his flatlet back in order, and seems to be relaxed.

As for me at the moment I am sitting in the sunroom, the only place in the house that is dust free and warm.
Every where else has a film of renovation dust so will get to that soon.

It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.
